I’m Daria Hoey, LCSW and I’m the founder of Revolution Counseling & Wellness. I’ve been in the counseling and social work industry for over 10 years and have developed a real passion for helping individuals work through challenging times in their lives.
I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Loyola University in 2013 and started working in private practice shortly after that. I have a great deal of experience working with individual clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and life changing events.
I also have a long track record of providing trauma counseling and support and coaching for
anger management and conflict resolution both in individual and group settings. I practice DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), so I believe in helping you find practical, action-based solutions that will help you go where you want to go.
While I work with all clients, I specialize in working with women, LGBTQIA individuals, and teenagers. I also take pride in the fact that Revolution is a safe, body-positive space.
In addition to my Master’s degree, I also have undergraduate degree in Sequential Art from Savannah College of Art and Design, so I often integrate art informed therapy into my practice, when clients express interest in a creative outlet.
If you think Revolution might be a fit for you, I offer free 15 minute consultations to new clients and am happy to answer any questions you might have. Feel free to call me at my office: (312) 877-5676 or via my cell: (872) 205-9035 or email me below and I’ll get back to you within 24-48 hours.
